Type I / C 595 Type IL

Type I / Type IL cement is a general purpose portland cement suitable for all uses where special properties are not required. It is used where cement or concrete is not subject to specific exposures, such as sulfate attack from soil or water, or to an excessive temperature rise due to heat generated by hydration. Its uses include driveways, roads, sidewalks, reinforced concrete buildings, bridges, railroad structures, storage tanks, reservoirs, culverts, sewers, water pipes and masonry units.

Type III / C595 Type IL(HE)

Type III / Type IL(HE) cement is a high-early strength portland cement that provides high strengths at an early age, usually a week or less. It is used when forms are to be removed as soon as possible, or when the structure must be put into service quickly. In cold weather, its use can reduce the curing period required.

image004-1-300x180 DocumentsSkyway slag cement is used in a wide variety of residential, commercial, industrial and public construction applications, which include cast-in place concrete, precast/prestressed concrete, structures, foundations, bridges, roads, pipe, block, mass concrete, masonry mortars, grouts, waste solidification, and soil stabilization. Skyway slag cement is particularly suitable for making high-strength, high-durability concrete with improved resistance to chemical/environmental attack, low permeability, light color for architectural uses, and low heat for mass-concrete applications.
